Obituary of Franklin Wick

Franklin Wick (90) of Oxford, Florida passed away on January 9, 2024. He was born March 15, 1933 in West Allis, Wisconsin to Nicholas Wick and Elsie Moll Wick.

Mr. Wick was a Charter Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Summerfield, Florida. He retired from the Navy after 22 years of service. He also retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 20 years of service.

Mr. Wick is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and six sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elaine Landon Wick, daughter, Lynne Wick Clem and husband Lemuel Keith Clem, son, Kevin Wick, grandson Matthew Lamar Clem and wife Aundrea Silvers Clem, grandson, Bradley Mark Wick, granddaughter, Ashley Michelle Clem, great-granddaughter Savannah Kate Clem and numerous nieces and nephews.

Committal services for Franklin will be Friday, March 1st at 3:00 PM at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Lake Mary, Florida with the Navy giving honors at the cemetery
