Obituary of John Leroy Naumann

John Leroy Naumann of Bellview, FL passed away peacefully on February 15, 2024, at the age of 71 surrounded by family.

John was born on April 6, 1952, in Detroit, MI and spent 90% of his life there.  No matter where he traveled, his heart always brought him back to Michigan.  John was an accomplished musician and played semi professionally in the Deroit and surrounding areas from the late 70s to 2011.  After moving to Ocala, he once again found himself pursuing his passion playing his guitar in a couple different bands.  John is an avid Detroit Lions and U of M fan. 

John is proceeded in death by his parents Marylou Heald and David Naumann.  He is survived by his soulmate and wife Renné; his daughter and son-in-law Angela and Jerry Rodman; sister and brother-in-law Sally and Curtis Porter and sister Missy Barrios Morris along with several nieces and nephews. John also has 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson and 4 great grandsons.

A memorial celebration of life will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home in Ocala on Saturday, March 9^th at 11:00am.

He will forever be in our hearts and forever missed.
