Obituary of James Kenneth Green

Green, James Kenneth James “Ken” Green, 88 passed away peacefully, surrounded by his 4 daughters on January 13, 2024. Ken was born in Ocheesee, Florida on January 25, 1935, to Jim and Beatrice Green. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 of his siblings and his loving wife, Marie. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Barbara Bolling (Rick), Lisa Harrell (Tom), Kim White (Butch) Belinda Rodriguez (Peter) and 2 siblings, Kathryn Barfield, and Glen Green. Ken relocated his family from Jacksonville to Ocala in 1961 to take a position as a Photo Engraver with Perry Printing Company. His career in the printing industry spanned many decades and included positions at the Ocala Star Banner and Carlson Color Graphics. Eventually, he purchased his own print shop, Good Time Printing, which is now owned by his daughter Kim and her husband Butch. Ken was always happiest watching his beloved Florida Gators play ball and spending time with all his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Arrangements are being made by Heirs-Baxley Funeral Services. The family will be having a private service at Highland Memorial Park on Sunday, January 21, at 10am
