Obituary of Guerta M Desroches

Guerta Marie Desroches, known to her loved ones as Gertrude, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2024, at the age of 96 in Ocala, Florida. She was born on January 13, 1927, in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. Guerta was a devoted homemaker, dedicating her life to nurturing and caring for her family. Guerta will be deeply missed by her children Leslie, Carolle, Ronald, and Andre Jr. She also leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness through her grandchildren Tracy, Nicole, Armond, Aliash, Caila, Cameron, and Lauren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Andre and her brothers Dennis Tranquille and La Ying Lay Fong In her free time, Guerta enjoyed gardening, tending to her plants with great care and affection. Her green thumb brought beauty and joy to her surroundings. She was a joyful member at Immaculate Heart of Mary. A funeral service to honor Guerta's life will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services located at 5846 SE Robinson Rd, Belleview, FL 34421.
