My Beautiful friend Lee has left us way too soon. Lee and I became fast friends our senior year of high school. We spent much of that year laughing out loud followed by a summer of lazy afternoons on Chic's Beach and lively evenings out dancing before heading off to different schools. We visited each other in college and in later years, delighting in exchanging similar stories of our growing families. I will remember Lee's devotion to her family, her committed patriotism, huge sense of fun, beautiful decorating style and love of Basset Hounds. Rest well, my Beautiful Friend. You will be missed. I'm just speechless. I miss you so very much. I wish we had mended the fence before you 'took to bed' with my trying to calm your tender heart that your children had studied to actually influence a world she'd be proud of, in spite of the fact that they were going about it in a way that made you feel like they had turned away from the value you DID make them hold precious. I wish I had been better at cooing.Fair winds and following seas , my love .

I loved Lee very much. She was a very vibrant person and she loved her family dearly. I'm deeply sorry for your loss but she is finally at peace and with her Lord. I am thankful for the time we had together because she will never be forgotten.

Aunt Lee - you always made me feel special in a way that only you could. I loved being your neice. I will always remember your hospitality when my sister and I would have sleepovers with our cousins and the funny things you would say. I love you so much.
