Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Guinn

Margaret Elizabeth Guinn, 97 of Ocala, FL passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Margaret was a lifelong resident of Ocala and a devoted wife and mother to her family. She graduated from Ocala High School as the valedictorian and the first Miss Ocala High School. Margaret was a member of Woodside Baptist Church of Ocala. She taught Sunday school for 23 years at Wyomina Park Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Reuben, brother Burton Oliver, and son in law William “Bill” Park. Survived by daughter Kathy Park of Trenton, FL, son former Mayor Kent Guinn and wife Sandra of Ocala, FL. Grandchildren Michael Guinn of Tampa, FL, Cameron Guinn and wife Haley of Ocala, FL, Amy Owens and husband Brent of Trenton, FL. Three great grandchildren Noah Owens, Zach Owens of Trenton, FL, and Edie Guinn of Ocala, FL., and a host of family and friends.

There will be a service celebrating Margaret’s life on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Woodside Baptist at 3:00 pm with the viewing and gathering prior to the service from 2:00pm to 3:00 pm. All family and friends are invited to celebrate and share with the family.
