Obituary of James Taylor "Jt" Kennedy

“Jt” was born and raised in Gainesville Florida on August 18, 1976. He was an avid Florida gator football fan who looked forward to watching every year. He also looked forward to our weekly game night with family. Jt would do anything for anyone with no questions asked, and never expected anything in return. James passed away at the age of 47 on September 13, 2023. He will truly be missed by many.

James is proceeded in death by his father, Samuel Pappas, Grandfather, Robert Taylor Kennedy, Grandparents, Charles “Chick” Pappas “Papou”, Sylvia Pappas “Yaya”, and his niece, Ashley Kennedy.

James is survived by his loving wife, Kristen A. Kennedy of Simpsonville, SC, son, Dawson T. Kennedy of Ocklawaha, FL, mother, Pamela Kennedy of Ocala, FL, brother, Charles “Chick” Kennedy of Minneola, FL, sister, Tina Kennedy of Gainesville, FL, and his cousins Chip & Margaret Pappas of Simpsonville, SC. And many more loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services of Ocala 910 E Silver Springs BLVD, Ocala, FL 34470. The Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00am.
