Obituary of Christine Bryant

Christine Bryant, 86, of Ocala, Florida passed away October 7, 2023, at Grace Davis Hall Hospice House, Ocala, Florida. Christine was born in Candler, FL., daughter of the late Peter H. Fort, Sr. and Maxine Fort. Prior to her retirement she worked for the Marion County School Board in the cafeteria of Howard Middle School. Christine is survived by daughter, Carol Schafer of Troy, MI and grandchildren Hilary Gorham, Laura Morris, Katherine Schafer, and Nolan Schafer. She is survived by nieces: Ruth Townley, Ocala; Charlene Reed, Cocoa Beach; Marvina Shields, Inverness, and nephews: Michael Cairns, Bonifay; Rick Fort, Ocala all in Florida. She was preceded in death by her brother and sisters: Peter H. Fort, Jr, Margaret Cairns, Estella Stewart and Dorothy Hailey. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Candler Cemetery, Candler, FL with the Reverend Joe Cogdell officiating.
