I've known Pop Almeida for 5 good years and he was like a father to myself and a papa to my daughter. We spent many months/years out on Timberline Farms with him and his kids. We spent a few many festivals with him. He fished with my daughter his grandkids and myself many times. He loved his cattle on Gaoeth and Timberline. I'm VERY thankful for the giving, BIGHEARTED and GOD loving man pop was. Pop has ALWAYS been a SOLDIER now he's fighting in GODS army now, watching over all of us until he sees you at The Pearly Gates. I love you pop and will forever miss you..

I am truly going to miss my dear friend Franco. We first met coaching baseball in B'view in the late 80's. We became closer when Franco lost his house to a fire. We went down to south Florida to help tarp houses following Hurricane Andrew. He would call me late at night and we would just talk. We shared meals together and I caught some halibut in Alaska and flew them back to Florida and we shared this meal together. Franco was all about family, faith and country!! Will miss you brother until we meet again on the other side! Love you brother!! ❤️

As a teacher I remember Franco as a student at LWHS. He was kind and respectful of everyone and was honored to have known him.. Other students quickly be3came his friend. He had wonderful parents and siblings. His parents were so diligent about providing their children a good education. He was a life well lived and shared lovingly with others.
