Marciano Gonzalez

Obituary of Marciano Gonzalez

In loving memory of Marciano ‘Mark’ Gonzalez, who departed from this world on August 18, 2023, following a brief illness. Born on March 6, 1956, in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, he brought his vibrant presence into the lives of Santiago and Lucretia Gonzalez Marquez, becoming the cherished youngest child of the family. Enlisting in the US Army in 1974, Marciano embarked on a remarkable journey that spanned two decades, traversing the globe during his dedicated service. His commitment continued beyond his military years, as he embarked on new adventures with the US Postal Service and Auto Zone. Yet it was on the dance floor where Marciano truly found his rhythm. A chance encounter led him to his soulmate, Liduvina, and their 21-year journey together. His love for dancing was contagious, his spirit captivating all who had the privilege of knowing him. A magnetic charisma exuded from him, effortlessly drawing people into his warm circle of friendship wherever he went. Marciano's heart knew no strangers; his ability to connect transcended boundaries. Alongside Liduvina, the joy they discovered within the church community brought them closer, nurturing their spirits in tandem. As he moves on to his next dance, Marciano leaves behind a legacy of love and companionship. He is survived by his devoted wife, Liduvina; his children, Hector Gonzalez, Bianca Gonzalez, and AbiManuel Seda; and his precious grandchildren Ella and Emery Moore, Elias Morales and Jaydeliz Seda. In addition to his immediate family, he is mourned by his extensive network of brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews, and his church family. Not to be forgotten is his cherished Pomeranian companion, Copito, whose loyal presence was a constant source of comfort and joy. While Marciano's physical presence may be missed, his spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of all who had the privilege of sharing life's dance floor with him. Arrangements entrusted to Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420. Condolences may be left at Hiers-Baxley.com.
