Obituary of Charleen Mills

Charleen Ronnee Mills, age 85, a resident of The Villages, Florida, passed away on July 18, 2023 at the UF Health Leesburg Hospital. She was born in Pleasantville, New Jersey on June 22, 1938, to Charles and Emma Miller. She was a graduate of Drew University, Wesley Theological Seminary, and achieved a PhD from American University in History. She was a Methodist minister and a librarian, and resided in New Jersey, Maryland and Florida. She is pre-deceased by her parents and spouse of 45 years, Barbara F. Miller, and is survived by daughter, Kimberly M. Clancy (Dan Clancy) and grandchildren Zoe and Ian Clancy of Los Osos, California, and brother, Russell Miller, of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. A private funeral service will be held at Charleen’s final place of rest, the Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery in Gainesville, Florida.
