Obituary of Keith Jason McLaughlin

Keith Jason McLaughlin of Moss Bluff, Florida passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Brandley Hospice House in Summerfield, Florida. Surrounded by his loving family. Keith was born in Dunedin, Florida on November 30, 1972. He was 50 years old.

He is survived by his mother Lois Bowser of Moss Bluff, Florida, his father Glen McLaughlin of Myrtle beach, South Carolina, brother Kevin (Amantha) McLaughlin of Atlantic Beach, Florida, sister Kelli (Scott) Stutson of Ocala, Florida, five nephews and many relatives.

Keith’s occupation and hobby was carpentry, he loved different types of wood and made various pieces of furniture which were all unique. One special piece which we cherish is a rocking chair and table made from fallen trees of various shapes he collected from his land.

Among many other of greatest treasure in Keith’s life was his choice to serve God. This brought about a greater spirit of love, softness and a kind heart.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 4:00 pm-5:00 pm with a Funeral service beginning at 5:00 pm followed by a reception at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, Florida 34470.

The burial will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 10:00 am at Moss Bluff Cemetery.
