In the last decade I've lost my closed uncles, neighbors who shared a strong friendship with my family and still Ellery's hit like nothing I've experienced. He was a confidant, a friend, someone you knew you can share any dumb joke and you will laugh together. We shared passion about music, video games, writing...
You might think that living miles away, in a different country and not even sharing the same mother language would create a line. "Just an internet pal". But he managed to break that wall and create a friendship that I won't forget. Ever. I feel honored to have met him and have shared so many good memories together. I'm proud of his strength and resolve to endure such a hard situation with a smile and, certainly, I'll fight on this life the double to carry on part of his resolve and ideals.
I really hope that his family can endure this hurtful moments and go on with their hopes of dreams, because now you have a ginger angel watching you... but probably not too catholic, you know how he was. Thank you for everything, bud. We'll see each other in the afterlife.
