In 2007 Mom and I went on a cruise to Norway. She with her crutches and I with my walker. Mom wanted a jar of lingonberry jam and I wanted a pair of real clogs from Norway. We got off the ship and went in search. Found the jam and found a shoe store. I found a beautiful pair of black leather clogs. Mom agreed they were nice. When we got back to the ship Mom was looking at the shoes and I heard a chuckle. I asked her what was so funny and she pointed to the bottom of the shoe. On the bottom it said made in Italy.

This is my mom, my sister and me. We are all smiling. It was one of those times when you laugh so hard you cry. We were having a family get together and were heating up a giant Walmart pizza, Karin started to take it out of the oven and I told her I would help. I was no help at all. The pizza slid off the pan and went everywhere. We decided to take a Facebook picture and post what a great celebration we were having. We laughed so hard that day.
