Obituary of Reba J Stewart

Reba J. Stewart, 91, of Weirsdale, Florida passed away February 23, 2023, at her home in Weirsdale, Florida. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Stewart who preceded her in 2012. Reba was born in Grassy Creek, North Carolina to Thadious and Goldie Jones. Prior to her retirement she worked for AT&T for 27 years. She loved to cook and make crafts. She loved her family and church activities. Reba is survived by daughter, Debra Gandy of Weirsdale, FL, grandson, Carson Gandy and brother, Ronald Jones of Thurmond, NC. She is also survived by " Lowretta, her daily canine companion." Lowretta made each day special for her. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband and granddaughter, Kristen Gandy and brother, Robert Jones. The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420 on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. Graveside services will be at Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3rd Street, Ocala, FL 34470 with Rev. Ronny Walker officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL.
