Obituary of Robert Leslie Sarr

Robert Leslie Sarr, 74, passed away February 4, 2023, at his home in Belleview, Florida. Robert was born in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of the late Donald and June Sarr. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement he worked 35 years for Florida Power Company as an electrician. He was also an active member of the Belleview VFW Post 8083 and was an avid fisherman. Robert is survived by his wife, Carol Sarr, of 51 years, and son Robert L. Sarr III and his wife, Kimberly of Spring Hill, FL. He also leaves behind 4 grandchildren, Annika, Autumn, Liam and Emma, and is predeceased by his grandson, Beau. He is also survived by Jean Sarr, her husband Larry, and family. Robert will be deeply missed by his wife, Carol, along with all his family and friends. The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420 on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM on February 11, 2023. Military Honors will be conducted at 11:30 AM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
