My Sugar Dumplin!! You could walk into Cracker Barrel and the whole place would light up. Your laughter was contagious and your smile was electric! I'm so thankful I got to get to you and Miss Sandra as over time y'all have became my family. My Tuesday nights at work are now darker that you won't be coming in. I met Elton during meetings at several business organizations. He was a fine man with a great sense of humor. I wish that I had been able to spend more time with him. I moved to Gainesville and just recently been able to spend time with him and Sandra. He still had that warm persona and great sense of humor. Such a loss to all that loved and knew him.

I’ve only known Elton for a couple months, but in that small amount of time, I’ve grown to love and care for him and his wife as if they were my own family. He was always smiling and laughing and he always knew how to make people smile. Although he won’t be here with us anymore, I’m sure he’s up in heaven eating all the fried pickles he wants! I send my love to his family, I’m sorry he’s gone and I’m so thankful I met him!

So sorry to hear of your loss, met Elton in Olive Garden when he a Sandra were celebrating his birthday..my friend an I joined in the Happy Birthday song to him. Immediately we recognized his outgoing friendliness. We exchanged text info with Sandra an that’s how our friendship began.
We have met Elton a Sandra a various restaurants in Ocala. Elton was always the same happy/smiling a friendly to everyone that he would speak with. What a joy he was to fellowship with. He will be dearly missed. A bright light to many! God Bless

I met Elton and Sandy at Olive Garden one day celebrating his birthday. We were sitting across from them and joined them in the celebration. We became quick friends and dined out several times afterwards. They both were so friendly and wonderful people. My love and prayers go out to Sandy, I know this is a great loss for her and a very difficult time. Also, prayers to his family that are grieving his loss. He was a very special man and never met a stranger.

I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting Elton through his daughter Lynn many years ago. He has always been a friend and has continuously extended his hand of friendship to me and my family.
