Obituary of Micaela Joy Capobianco
Our sweet angel, Micaela Joy Capobianco, 17, of Ocala Fl, left this earth and went to a better place on Tuesday, December 13th, 2022. Micaela was born February 1st, 2005 in Oconto Falls, WI. She grew up in Lansdale , PA and Ocala, FL.
Micaela is survived by her mother, Melissa (McAllister) Capobianco and her 3 younger sisters Gabriella, Francesca, and Carmella, and was preceded in death by her father, Michael in 2021.
Micaela also leaves behind her grandparents, Anthony and Kathleen Capobianco of Ocala, Fl, grandparents Diane McAllister and Don Abodeely of Swiftwater, PA, and grandfather William McAllister of Mt. Pocono, PA. Surviving aunts and uncles include Adriana Capobianco of Rochester, NY, Joseph Capobianco of Stroudsburg, PA, Justin Capobianco of Ocala, FL, Sarah and Michael Stiff of Henryville, PA, Emily McAllister of Canadensis, PA, Lindsey McAllister and Adam of Tobyhanna, PA, and Myles Bodine of Cresco, PA. Her loving cousins are Noah, Mia, Dakota, Mason, Cole, Madeline, Tyler, Ben, Myles, Brianna, Justin, Kaelyn, and Skylar. She will also be missed by great aunts, great uncles, and many other loved ones and friends.
Micaela completed her middle school education at Grace Christian School and went on to attend West Port High School, both in Ocala. She excelled in academics receiving high grades and was accepted in the National Junior Honor Society. She had a great affinity for and a natural talent in the musical realm. Her musical accomplishments include two Superior scores in Solo and Ensemble events and one Superior score at Musical Performance Assessment. She also joyfully participated in marching and concert bands in high school, lighting up the football stands with her contagious energy and even getting to perform at Carnegie Hall in 2020.
She relished in volunteering in many capacities including serving at Meadowbrook Church distributing food and supplies to families in need, assisting at the Women's Pregnancy Center Gala, and helping make meals to be served at the Ronald McDonald House. Her kind outreach also included being a camp counselor at Camp Invention, a position right down her alley, as she adored helping and encouraging those younger than her.
She enjoyed playing soccer, volleyball, and tennis, always excited about being part of a team and was a great encouragement to her fellow teammates.
Anyone that had the pleasure of knowing Micaela knew that she marched to the beat of her own drum. There was absolutely no one that could change the rhythm. But a wonderfully unique and caring rhythm it was. Fiercely loyal, she protected those she loved with all her might and always found something good in others, accepting them just as they are and spreading compliments everywhere she went.
She was so full of a special zest for life. Everyone who met her loved her, because she exuded love and joy. Her fashion sense reflected her personality so perfectly. Her style was zany, fun, quirky, bright, colorful, and so very creative. She wasn't afraid to express herself in exactly the way she wanted. She needed no one else's approval.
Her heart and soul were pure gold, and her Smile was exquisite and genuine and is brightening everyone's soul now in heaven, as it did on earth.
