Obituary of William Irvin Curtis

William Irvin Curtis, 87, of Silver Springs, Florida passed away October 30, 2022, at Ocala Regional Medical Center, Ocala, Florida. He was the husband of Barbara Curtis for 38 years. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Lester and Mary Curtis. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Prior to his retirement he was a Vocational Auto Paint and Body Instructor at Vanguard High School and Community Education Coordinator for Marion County School District. He loved working on computers and could fix anything mechanical. He was a man of faith who loved his family, his country and considered it an honor to serve in the U.S. Air Force. Bill will be deeply missed by his wife, Barbara Curtis and son, William Alan Curtis and his wife June of Inverness, FL and sister, Jean Marie Barrett of Belleview, FL. and daughters, Pamela Bright and her husband Michael of Silver Springs, FL and Julie Barham and her husband Jackson of Ocala, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Leo J. Curtis. A Graveside Service will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala, FL on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 11:00 AM.
