Obituary of Timothy Earl Grubaugh

Timothy Earl Grubaugh Sr., of Ocala, FL, passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on October 7, 2022.  He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cathy Grubaugh, their four children: Kimberly Chamblin (Shannon), Timothy (Bud) Grubaugh Jr. (Anita), Joshua Grubaugh, Brandon Grubaugh (Ashley), and seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; as well as, his mother, Thelma Grubaugh, and eight siblings: Kenda, Rebecca, Valerie, Audrey, Cheryl, Terry, Jeff, Bud, and Kenneth Jr. 

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Grubaugh Sr., his birthmother Audrey Martin, and his sister Brenda Williams. Tim lived his life fully and never missed a beat.  He spent his time doing what he loved.  He will be missed in our homes, hearts, and at the racetrack. In true Tim fashion, he told his wife and children, “Don’t worry about me when I’m gone, I’ll be fine, it won’t be my f***ing problem anymore, it will be yours.  I need you to take care of yourselves and make sure your mother is ok.”

The Viewing will be Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 6:00p.m. -  6:30p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala Chapel.  The funeral service will began at 6:30p.m. in the chapel.
