Tom was a great friend. Always smiling no matter the situation. We worked together at the Keyser swimming pool our junior and senior years of high school. We graduated together from KHS in 1967. Tom all of us from KHS will miss you. Fly high!!

Sorry to hear about Tom's passing. My husband & I went on the Class of '67 reunion cruise in 1999. Tom was on this cruise with his classmates. My husband knew Tom, but it was my first time meeting Tom. He saved my husband in Cozumel, Mexico. It was so ungodly hot, and my husband was on the verge of having a heat stroke. He took us to a place called Carlos & Charlie's where bags of ice were placed on my husband's neck & head to cool him down. It worked! One day on the ship Tom threw ice on me, and I surprised him with a bucket of ice. We had many laughs about this adventure. My husband & I would see Tom when he came to the Keyser Moose Lodge for the Ed Kelley award. I am glad that we have memories of Tom that make us smile. We will keep all of his family in our prayers.

I first formally met Tom when our brother, Mike Landis, passed. He came in dressed in his army uniform and told me he was my brother. Tom was a unique soul, full of life. Looking so much like our father, and having that same, for lack of a better term, honor. I will always cherish the memories. Condolences to the entire family, and his wife group of friends.
