Dear Jamie and Tim,
Your mom and dad were such a blessing in our lives. We met Sal and Claudia on a Marriage Encounter weekend in September of 1971, and because of their love and friendship on that weekend, and for the next forty years and more, the love in our own marriage just continued to grow. Your mom and dad were a team couple on these weekends for married couples, and their love and sharing of their own married life helped so many couples like us to grow in love, joy and forgiveness. In 1972, your parents started an Image Group with us and five other couples, and our group met monthly for over 40 years to share our journey of marriage and family life, and all of us benefitted so much from these friendships.
Claudia and Sal were the Godparents of our 7th child, Margaret Mary. And they loved her so much. All of our children remember Aunt Claudia and Uncle Sal. We had so much laughter, smiles and fun with your parents over the years, and with you two as well, as we were raising our kids. They did a pretty great job with you two. And they brought peace, love and joy into so many lives.
We send our condolences to you and your families at this time of loss. We have no doubt that your mom and dad are with God in Heaven.
And we thank God for your wonderful parents, Sal and Claudia, who made this world a much better place. May they rest in God's Peace forever.
