Obituary of Paul A. Wise

Paul A. Wise passed away on September 20, 2022 at the age of 91.

He was born in Lakewood Ohio on July 13, 1931 to William and Beatrice Pauli Wise.  Paul was a lifelong educator.  Living in North Ridgeville, Ohio he worked at several west side school districts until moving to Holmes County in 1971 where he taught at West Holmes Local Schools until his retirement in 1984.  In 2000 he and Jan moved to Ocala FL where he spent time tinkering in his garage sharpening tools and riding his bike daily.

He leaves behind three children, William (Mary Lu) Wise, Karen Gensert and Sandra (Dennis) Davis, numerous grandchildren/great grandchildren and

a special group of neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his wife Janet and his son-in-law Scott Gensert.

At Paul’s reqest there will be no services.  Memorial contributions made be made to Hospice of Marion County.
