I didn't even need to read the name, as I recognized her right away. ..I told my husband Mrs. Claus has died. She and husband, Billy, brought so much joy to all of us in and near The Villages. I can still see them riding in the Christmas parades and taking numerous kids on their laps to patiently listen to the little ones Christmas wishes. They also brought much delight to all by decorating their home on the historic side of The Villages with exquisite Christmas decorations. Marian had the perfect features for being Mrs. Claus. Kind and warm with a smile that made you feel like you were talking to a perfect Grandma. She certainly earned a special place in heaven and in many people's hearts. Condolences to her family. from a long-time Village resident
