Obituary of Evelyn Janes

Evelyn Janes, 88, of Ocala passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at her residence in Ocala. Evelyn Janes was a native of Newport, Arkansas and moved to this area from Sarasota 1973. She was retired from the School Board.  She was an avid camper, enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with her family. 

Survivors include her daughters Robin Lynn Haley, Melody Morgan, Debbie Brown; son Ricky (Lynn)E Brown; brother William Hancock; 14 Grandkids, 19 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Robert R Janes, and sons Kenneth and Gary Brown.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL, 34470. A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service. Online condolences may be sent at www.hiers-baxley.com.
