To all the Hartman Children and families,
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at Great-Uncle George's passing. That is such a great picture you posted of him. He always had this sly smile as if he was up to something. One of my favorite memories is when we visited George and Annabelle in Fairfax and went for Chinese food. I had never tried the mustard, but George encouraged me to try some, so I put a generous helping on my food. He got quite the laugh out of my reaction when I realized how hot the mustard was, burning my nose and making my eyes water. Grandma and Pap (Arlene and Sam Starr) usually accompanied our visits to George and Annabelle over the years, and they were witness to this mustard incident, along with my late mom, Barb Dietrich. May your wealth of memories comfort you as you grieve George's passing.
With love and prayers,
Ann (Dietrich) McHugh

My condolences to Uncle George’s 3 children. I’m sad for his loss yet it’s good to know that he inherited those good Hartman longevity genes. I only ran across this today because its his mother’s birthday and I was looking for a photo. I hope you all are doing well.
