Obituary of Mary Ann Jones

Mary Ann Jones, 79, of Ocala, Florida passed away July 15, 2022, at Bridgewater Park Assisted Living Facility, Ocala, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John Jackson Jones. Mary Ann was born November 23, 1942, in Follansbee, West Virginia, the daughter of the late John and Margaret Spishak. Mary Ann loved quilting and was a member of Busy Bees, Scrappy Angels, and the American Quilters Society. She was also a member of the Lady Shriners Club and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, visiting with her family and playing Bingo. Mary Ann is survived by her sons, Richard Thomas Jones of Mesa, AZ, and Mark William Jones and his wife Barbara of Locust Grove, VA. She has 2 grandchildren, Trey Nicholas Jones and Sagan Lee Brummett, and 1 great granddaughter, Ryan Lee Brummett. She is preceded in death by her brother, John Spishak of Oregon, and sister, Margaret June Sabol of Ocala, Florida. Services will be private.
