Obituary of Denise Alvarez

Denise "Lynn" Alvarez graduated to Heaven peacefully on April 19, 2022 in Ocala, FL. Lynn is no longer enslaved to her disabled body, but dancing freely with Jesus. 

Lynn was born in Ocala, FL on November 5, 1959, but spent the majority of her life in Jacksonville, FL. She was a free spirit, filled with spunk, joy and always brought laughter and smiles to everyone she knew or met. Shortly after moving to Ocala, FL, Lynn moved into an assisted living facility that our family jokingly referred to as "The Lynnsor" because she knew everyone and was sure to greet you with a smile upon arrival and a "bye-bye" on your way out. 

Lynn will be greatly missed by many. She is survived by her father John Alvarez (Olga Alvarez), brother John Allen (Rita Wagner), sisters: Lacy Scardasis and Christa Parodi(Brian Parodi), nieces and nephews: Cortney (David & son: John David), Trae Alvarez, Kelby Alvarez (daughters: Delilah and Presley), Cord Alvarez (daughter: Karley), Corey (daughter: Cayden), Jessica (Chris), Brian, Issac (Kalysha & daughter: Haven), Hallie, many cousins, aunts and uncles. 

Lynn is preceded in death by her beloved mother & step father: Shirley and Leon Barrie, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
