Rudolph Joseph Macey of Ocala, Florida -- Saturday April 16, 2022

On Saturday, April 16th, 2022 Rudolph "Rudy" Joseph Macey passed away surrounded by his supportive and loving family. He was eight days shy of celebrating his 100th birthday. He was born on April 24, 1922 in Tarrytown, New York. He was a WWII Veteran, in the US Navy from 1940 to 1946. He retired in 1974 from the Federal Communications Commission.

He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Anna Cibula Macey, his brothers Stephen and Frank Macey, his sisters Adele Macey and Helen Macey Diminescu, his son Paul Macey, and his great-grandson Mark Sandler. He is survived by his loving wife of 77 years, Elizabeth Jane Runge Macey; his brother John Macey; his daughter Gloria Jean Macey Stiltner (Roy); his granddaughter and recent caretaker Laura Ann Stiltner Cleesen (Larry); his great-grandchildren Amber, Larry Jr., and Ashley; great-great-grandchildren Courtni, Camden, Treyce, and Kolt; and many nieces and nephews.

A private family graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala, Florida. Funeral arrangements by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services.
