Obituary of Alean Paula Horton

Alean Paula Horton, 71, of Summerfield, Florida passed away April 15, 2022, at UF Health The Villages Hospital, The Villages, Florida. She was the wife of James Horton for 36 years. Alean was born in Long Island, New York the daughter of the late Alfred and Jean Korte. Prior to her retirement she spent her life helping others as a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed spending time admiring the beauty of the nature around her. She had a knack for transforming simple things into beautiful things. Her heart was always wide open for helping animals and keeping them happy in her life. She lived a long happy life with the husband she loved. Irreplaceable mother with no comparison who took great pride in her children, and thoroughly loved watching her grand children grow. She was a woman whose heart knew no bounds. Alean is survived by her husband, James Horton of Summerfield, FL, her son, Sean Patrick Dartt, 43, of Smyrna, TN and daughter, Megan Jean Meng, 33, of Murfreesboro, TN .
