Obituary of Dale Ann Chilton

Dale Ann Chilton, 81, of Ocala, Florida passed away at EW & Lucille Cate’s Hospice House on April 2, 2022. She was born August 22, 1940, the daughter of the late Paul and Ethel F. Mowbray. Dale was a native of Bradenton, Florida before moving to the Ocala area in 1979.

In 1960, she married her loving husband, Jack Chilton, and together they shared many years of love and happiness before his passing in 2016.

Dale was a member of West Point Baptist Church in Ocala, FL for many years. Dale loved cooking and having friends over, her joy was seeing her children and grandchildren. Dale loved to travel and cruise with Jack and her friends.

She was a devoted wife and mother to her to her children Victoria (Warren) Landers of Ocala, FL and Roger (Tammy) Chilton of Williston, FL and grand children, Cameron Sofsky of Ocala, FL, Garrett Chilton of Tavares, FL, Marc Eric Cholewczynski of Oregon. Tiffany Barrett of New York & Alexis Shutt of Orlando, FL & 4 great grandchildren, who she loved dearly. Dale leaves a large group of friends and extended family, She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack; daughter Debra Keiper & Grandson Brandon Lee Caylor. 

Per Dale’s request, a memorial will be Saturday April 16th, 2022 at West Point Baptist Church @ 11525 West Hwy 40, Ocala, FL 34481. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s & Dementia Association (alz.org). Online condolences may be sent to hiers-baxley.com.
