Obituary of Frances R. Wilson

Frances R. Wilson, 92, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Alexandria Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born on July 10, 1929 in Spindale, North Carolina, the daughter of Garland and Cora Lee (Spangler) Robbins.

She was employed by State Farm Insurance in West Lafayette, IN for 25 years. After retiring in 1994, she and her husband, Frank “Johnny” Wilson moved to Ocala, FL and relocated to Anderson in 2009.

Frances enjoyed word puzzles, crocheting beautiful scarves, and eating Wendy’s Frosties.

She is survived by her children: Michael “Mike” and Laura Wilson of Alexandria and Wayne and Laura Wilson of Acton, California; four grandchildren, Michelle, Charissa, Katharine, and Jonathan; five great grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, and a brother, Neal Robbins.

Funeral services will be held in Ocala, Florida at Hiers Baxley Funeral Home on Friday, April 8, 2022. Entombment will take place at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens.
