Obituary of Antonette Dietrich
Antonette Chiaravalloti Lilienthal Dietrich 11/21/1938-03/27/2022, passed peacefully Sunday morning, March 29, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Toni was born in Livermore Falls, Maine to Antonio and Mary Chiaravalloti. She grew up in Wilton, Maine where she graduated high school with honors. She went on to attend the university of Maine at Farmington with a degree in Elementary education. Toni taught remedial reading in the Mercer Public School District for several years. She went on to open up a successful photography business starting with weddings and high school senior pictures, but quickly expanded to include local sports teams, family portraits and renting tuxes and gowns. Always looking for another business venture, she moved to Newport, RI where she landed an opportunity to become part of the lobster industry. Making a commitment to learn about every aspect of lobster brokering, she quickly made a name for herself becoming one of the most sought after brokers in the northeast. She was well respected with both those selling lobsters and those buying lobsters. She accomplished all this while wearing her high heels, miniskirts and stylish hairdos. She is survived by her husband Robert Dietrich, her sister, Donna Cialfi of Connecticut. Her 5 children, Martin Gage and wife Leah, Judith Veal and husband Joey, Anthony Gage, Nila Regula and Niles H. Gage, III. She leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 17 Great grandchildren.
