Obituary of Charlotte Ott Ponder

                Charlotte Ott Ponder, beloved wife of Carswell, and mother of Bill (Sharron), Art (Angie), and Mel (Mona) Ponder, passed peacefully Tuesday afternoon March 22, 2022.  She was 84 years of age.  Charlotte was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and was a long time resident of Ocala.  She was a graduate of Ocala High School and University of Florida, a member of First United Methodist Church (Ocala), a schoolteacher and a realtor.

                She is Grandmother to Eight Grandchildren (Ross, Julianne, Jacob, Marilynn, Hannah, Preston, Casey and Grace Ponder), and Great Grandmother to Lily and Lyla Ponder.

                After a private burial, a Celebration Of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 2 at 1:00 pm, (with a reception to follow) at First United Methodist Church, Ocala (1126 E. Silver Springs Blvd).   In lieu of flowers, may we suggest a contribution to one of Charlotte’s favorite causes:
