Obituary of Betty Lou Bobo

Betty Lou Bobo, 91, of Summerfield, Florida, and previously Lafayette Indiana passed away February 10, 2022, at Estelle's Hospice House, Ocala, Florida. She was the wife of the late Blake Henry Bobo who preceded her on May 29, 2005. Betty was born in Courtland, Alabama a daughter of the late Riley and Annie Terry. She retired from Payless grocery store in Lafayette Indiana after working for 54 years in the Deli department. Betty always said, "If you ain't got family you ain't got anything". She touched many lives and will be deeply missed. Betty is survived by sons, Rick Bobo and his wife, Judy of Summerfield, FL and William Bobo of Summerfield, FL and sister Mattie Hale (Donald) of Molten AL; Grandchildren, Jeannette Crawford, Nicole Zelazny, Andrea Hazi, Richard Bobo, Jason Bobo, Wrianna Bobo, Tommy Bobo, Jennifer Bobo; great-grandchildren, Dominic Crawford, Zoey Zelazny, Levi Bobo, Shiann Hazi, Madison Hazi, Richard Jr Bobo, Kelsey Bobo, Devin, and Savannah; 5 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by son Jimmy Lane Bobo; 5 brothers; 4 sisters. The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420 on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM.
