Obituary of Richard Carroll Lane

Richard Carroll Lane, 90, of Ocala passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at E.W. & Lucille Cates Hospice House in Ocala. Richard was a native of Tampa, Florida and moved to this area from Miami in 1989. He is a member of the first Christian Church in Ocala.  He enjoyed spending his free time with his family and golfing.  Survivors include his wife of 48 years Hila Lane; son, Richard Jeffrey (Jeff) Lane; daughter Lori Lane; sister, Sue Garcia; brother, Fred Lane, 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Brian K. (Keith) Lane. A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at First Christian Church.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, 3012 W Sitka St, Tampa at 3pm.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Christian Church in Memory of Richard.
