Obituary of Nancy Montgomery Wood

Nancy Montgomery Wood was born on November 5th 1940.  She departed this earthly life on November 7, 2021 in The Villages, Florida

Nancy had many great achievements during her life.  She received her masters in education, and was a teacher, talk show host, had a public relations firm, became a minister and wrote her own column in the local newspaper. Nancy touched many lives over the years as we have seen with all the cards, letters, messages, calls and texts. 

Nancy was happiest when she was spending time with her family which included her cats who she adored and spoiled.

We know she is loved in Heaven and she is not alone. In addition to having God, family and friends with her, a piece of our hearts went with her the day God called her home.

Nancy was survived by her children and spoused Erik, Lori &  Brian, Lisa & Jim,  Sharon & John, Stacey, Sue, & Bill, grandchildren  and spouses Jami & Brian, Brett & Laura and Drew, cousins, family, Barbara and Jill Borman, their children, grandchildren and many more relatives who will all miss her dearly. 

Nancy's celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 7th at 11am at the Hiers Baxley Funeral Home at 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages Florida.
