Obituary of Anita Gruber Poole

Anita Gruber Poole, 93, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021surrounded by her family just two weeks shy of her 94^th birthday. She was a native of Williamsport, Maryland and moved to Ocala from Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1985. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Ocala. Anita worked as a secretary in the manufacturing and banking industries. After retiring in 1985, she worked part-time for her son in financial services for another 25 years. She enjoyed the company of her cats and listening to jazz music. Anita was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Arthur L. Poole, Jr. She is survived by her son, Arthur L. Poole, III, daughter-in-law Julie, grandson Kyle and his wife Destiny, all of Ocala. Visitation will be held at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 910 E. Silver Springs Boulevard, Ocala on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 10:00am. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 11:00 am.
