Obituary of Pamela Vawn Wynkoop

Pamela Vawn Wynkoop, 71, formerly of Ocala, Florida passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, Ohio on October 5, 2021. She was born August 12, 1950, the daughter of the late Clifford Wynkoop and Almira Wynkoop. Pamela was a native of Portsmith, Virginia before moving to the Orlando area as a child.She graduated from Evans High School, Orlando Fl.in 1968.  Following an illness, Pamela moved to Newark ohio to be with daughter Traci Abbott, where she resided until her passing. She was an  avid nature and animal lover. She nutured and cared for orphaned wild life of all types. She loved to read and collect books of all kinds. Classic rock and roll Music was a great passion of hers.

Pamela is survived by her mother Almira Wynkoop, children, Adam (Angela) Wynkoop, Erik Wynkoop,  and Tracy Abbott; grandchildren, Brandi(Ben) Spence, Shelli Wynkoop, Erik Binns, Abigail Abbott, Micah Abbott, Hayli Wynkoop, and Isabella Wynkoop; siblings, Kip Wynkoop, Todd Wynkoop, and Shari(Greg)Stafford. Many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Father Clifford E. Wynkoop.

A memorial gathering for Pamela will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services (910 E Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL 34470) on Saturday, December 4 at 11am.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Ronald McDonald House_. Online condolences may be sent to hiers-baxley.com.
