Obituary of James A. Bradish
James (Jim) A. Bradish went home to heaven on November 10, 2021. He just turned 85 on November 5, 2021 and lived in The Villages, Florida for the past 18 years. He was born and raised in Belle Vernon, PA, and he worked for U.S. Steel for 33 years. When he retired, he delivered parts for Bill Marsh Ford in Newtown, PA and McCafferty Ford in Langhorne, PA.
Jim enjoyed taking care of his cars and always kept them in mint condition. He also took pride in his yard and the landscaping was always beautiful. When he wasn’t working in the yard or on a car, you could find him ‘putzing’ in the garage. Jim and Mitzi loved playing cards with friends and they would take turns hosting these game nights. In his younger days, he was a skilled bowler and avid roller-skater. Jim was also the one Mitzi depended on to help with errands or run out for an item she forgot and he was always happy to do so. He was a loving husband, good father and caring grandfather.
Jim is predeceased by his parents Andrew and Julia Bradish, brothers Raymond (Ray), Andrew (Andy), and William (Bill), and sisters Julia (Jay) Semancik, Margaret Summers, and Elizabeth (Betty) Murt.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marie (Mitzi) Bradish (nee Girman); children Jim Bradish (Terrie) and Karen Rigby; grandchildren Tom Rigby, Samantha Bradish, and Alexa Rigby Kringe (Rich), sister Helen Stagi and many nieces and nephews.
Services are being held on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Summerfield, Florida.
