Obituary of Zahra H Lapp

Zahra H Lapp, 96, of Ocala, Florida passed away November 16, 2021, at Ocala Regional Medical Center, Ocala, Florida. She was the wife of the late Robert Harwood Lapp who preceded her on July 18, 2002. Zahra was born in Chicago, Illinois a daughter of the late Hashaim and Priscilla Hassan. She lived in Wilmette, IL and went to New Trier and Northwestern in Evanston, IL. She lived 40 years in Ephraim, WI. She was active at Silver Springs Shores walking, Tai Chi, water aerobics, Mah Jong, Bridge, Women of the Moose and Senior learners at UCF. She was a lifelong member of the Bahai’ faith. Zahra is survived by her significant other, Gene Diamond and son, Michael J. Lapp and his wife Lisa Ann of Ocala, FL and grandchildren Rebecca Lapp and Mathew Lapp and her sister, Banu Komlosy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harwood Lapp, parents, son Robby, brother, Charles Brewster. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 2:00PM at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
