From Family in Ireland. It is with sadness that Cousin Eileen, and family here in Ireland, grieve Uncle Dan’s passing, and remember him fondly. He was so proud of his Irish heritage, and maintained a strong bond with his Irish family. We will always cherish the priceless gift he gave each of us kids, when he brought each of us in turn, to New York as teenagers. My memories are of a kind, generous, gentle man, who liked to tease and ‘have the crack’ (fun) a very Irish trait. While we cannot be with our family in Florida at this time, we reflect and honour Uncle Dan here at home. We reminisce and share stories, and keep him alive in our hearts and minds. We send our deepest sympathies to Aunt Dot, cousin Chris and family, and our loving family in New York. Uncle Dan is in our thoughts and prayers. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Terri and I are sorry about Danny’s passing, and offer our condolences to his wife Dot, his family, and many friends. Danny was a good friend, and I enjoyed having him as a fellow “ Friend of Bill W” for so many years. He was an inspiration to many folks in the Ocala recovery community. I will miss my fellow Irishman. You lived your life one day at a time for 62 years; time now to Rest In Peace old friend.
