Obituary of Neal David McVey

Neal David McVey, 65, of Ocala passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at his residence in Ocala. Neal David McVey was a native of Ansted, West Virginia and moved to this area in 1959. He retired from Ocala Police Department after 38 years in fleet maintenance. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching NASCAR in his free time. He was Caring, Funny, Loving, Gentle, Big Hearted and so much more; he Touched so many people throughout his life. He opened his home to so many friends from weeks to years he was always there to offer help and comfort. Survivors include his siblings Michael McVey, Ray Ivan McVey, Terri Richards, James "Jimmy" McVey, Hulda "Sue" Crumb; and numerous, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond Cecil and Pauline Virginia McVey, and brothers Raymond “Nick” and William “Billy” McVey. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3rd Street. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to March of Dimes, P.O.
