Obituary of Gwendolyn Joyce Lien

Gwendolyn Joyce Lien, 84, of Ocala Florida, passed away surrounded by family on September 20, 2021. She was born February 16, 1937 in Dew, Texas. She was married to her loving husband, James H. Lien and together they shared 57 years of love and happiness. Joyce enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing, dancing, and travel.

Joyce is survived by her children; Jim and Johanna Allen, James H. Lien jr., Janice Lien, and Andrew Jon Lien. She has nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, two sisters Thresia & Darlene, two brothers Bud & Ronald of the Thomas family of Texas.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband James, and her sisters Eloise, Mattie Pearl, Bennie, Florence, Virginia and Honey, of Texas.

A memorial for Gwendolyn Joyce Lien will be held at 12pm on Saturday October 16^th at Highland Memorial Park (1515 NE 3^rd Street, Ocala, Florida 34470). In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the hospice of your choosing. Online condolences may be sent to Hiers-Baxley.com.
