Obituary of Adolfo Rosado-Otero

Adolfo Rosado-Otero, 88, passed away on September 12, 2021.  He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on October 12, 1932.  Adolfo completed his education receiving his B.S. in Nursing and went on to proudly join the United States Army where he served for 20 years before retiring.  After retirement he continued caring for others through volunteer work at hospitals and nursing homes in the community.  Adolfo was an active parishioner at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala, FL.  He was known to everyone for his loving, compassionate and generous nature.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Santiago Rosado and Carmen Otero; brothers Justino Rosado Otero, Bernardo Rosado Otero; and sisters Beatriz Rosado Otero, Carmen Rosado Otero, Camila Rosado Otero. 

He is survived by his sisters Milagros Rosado and Irma Wiggam; brother Santiago Rosado, Jr.; and many nieces; nephews; and cousins.  He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed.

Viewing will be held at HIERS-BAXLEY Funeral Services - TimberRidge, 9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, FL 34481 on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 3-5pm. 

A memorial mass will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 6455 SW State Road 200, Ocala, FL 34476 on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 8:30am.  Interment will be at Cementerio La Piedad, Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Sentiments may be left online at www.hiers-baxley.com.
