Obituary of Nancy P. Durante

                Nancy P. Durante, 76, of Orlando, Florida passed away at Advent Health of Orlando on September 5, 2021. She was born January 5, 1945, the daughter of the late Millard and Mina Parrish. She was the sister of Helen Phelps, Betty Davis, Shirley Hill, Jackie Gilliam, and John Parrish. Nancy was a native of Ocala, Florida where she spent many years of her childhood before moving to the Orlando area in 1975. She was a proud daycare owner for over 40 years. Nancy always enjoyed singing and playing guitar. She had a passion for music in her younger years. As her family grew, she never missed an opportunity to spend time with each of them. She was always involved in beach trips, sports games, family dinners, and shopping sprees with her daughter. She was a spontaneous woman who was always looking for new adventures. Nancy had accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was a member of Eastland Baptist Church. She would hope that her passing would be used to bring others to Christ and to assure them that we would all be reunited in Heaven one day. Nancy is survived by her son, Curtis Pope, and her daughter, Cathy Allums. She was a loving Grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
