Obituary of Robert Bishoff Sr.
BISHOFF SR, Robert passed away peacefully on August 27, 2021, at the age of 83. Bob is predeceased by his mother, Maxine Lenora Bishoff, his father, Damon Gay Bishoff, and sister, Barbara June Bishoff.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Linda Susan Bishoff, his only son, Robert Bishoff, Jr., daughter in law, Catherine Denise Bishoff, and grandson, Justin “Jakey” Bishoff. He is lovingly remembered by his brother, Ronald Bishoff and wife, Lois; sister, Janet Jenkins and husband Thomas; sister, Carol Millwater and husband Bob Ryan, and many nieces, and nephews.
Bob’s passions included skiing, piloting, and golfing. He loved his family intensely and was devoted to family and friends alike. Bob was a member of the Engineering Society and IEEE of Baltimore, donated his time to St. Theresa’s delivering meals to the housebound and ill.
A larger than life man who will be dearly missed by all.
Memorial service to be held on October 5, 2021 between 3-5 pm at:
Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 3975 Wedgwood Lane, The Villages, Florida 32162.
Interment on October 8, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Centenary Cemetery in Cuzzart, West Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Bob for love and devotion to his brother to: Alzheimer’s Association
