Obituary of Earl Alexander Peterman

Earl Alexander “Alex” Peterman, Jr., 65, of Ocklawaha, Florida passed away August 29, 2021, at West Marion Community Hospital, Ocala, Florida. He was the husband of Patricia Peterman for 31 years. Alex was born in Detroit, Michigan; the son of Earl and Helen Peterman. He was a graduate of Stetson University with a degree in Business. He was the owner of the Belleview Hardware Store, Belleview, FL. Alex is survived by his wife, Patricia Peterman, his mother, Helen Peterman of Ft. Myers, FL, daughters, Sarah Peterman Schmidt and her husband, Gilchrist, of Birmingham, AL, Rebecca Hicks and her husband, Timothy, of Brooksville, FL, Joni Mulhall and her husband Timothy, of Summerfield, FL and son, Matthew Stanley of Inverness, FL. He is also survived by sisters, Ann Harbaugh of Ocala, FL and Melissa Whitley of Ft. Myers, FL. He was the grandfather of Kayla, Nathan, Faith, Grace, and Hope. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Alexander Peterman. A Memorial Service will be held at the Grace Presbyterian Church, 2255 SE 38th Street, Ocala, FL 34480 on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 11 am.
