Obituary of Robert Ferguson

Robert “Sonny” Ferguson, 83, of Dunnellon passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at his residence in Dunnellon. Mr. Ferguson was a retired Wildlife Officer and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time with his family and friends. He served in the United States Navy and attended Christ the King Anglican Church. Survivors include sons, Roger (Dora) Ferguson, Glen (Lisa) Ferguson; stepsons Jim (Brenda) Bailey, Winston (Carla) Bailey; brother James (Barbara) Ferguson; 5 grandkids, 3 great grandkids and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Marsha Darian Ferguson, son Bruce Ferguson, parents Dr. Robert Donald and Louise Ferguson, sisters Deborah “Bobbie” Costello and Marsha Brown. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery, Ocala. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ the King Anglican Church Discretionary Fund.
