Obituary of Betty Nutter

Betty Nutter, 54, of Belleview, Florida passed away August 21, 2021, at Ocala Regional Medical Center Ocala, Florida. She was the wife of Robert Nutter. She was born Claremont, Florida a daughter of the late Lloyd and Betty Walton. She enjoyed listing to music from 70s 80s 90s. She enjoyed sitting on front porch talking with friends and family. Loved spending time with her grandson. She was very intelligent and could answer about any question you threw at her. She loved talking about her family in Kentucky. As well as antique shopping and what she called garbage picking where we would find furniture and other things out by the curb that were in good condition. She loved going to the beach. Light colors like yellow and pink and coral beach colors. Loved trying to figure out ways to use old objects and making them into something new. Loved swimming and researching. Helping others. Loved decorating and having family gatherings at holiday times. Enjoyed helping other people. She enjoyed shopping. She also was close with her son’s girlfriend Maddie Brennan. She always put others before her and no matter what was going on was so happy. She was loved and will always be in our hearts and prayers. Betty was also an excellent cook like her mother. She also collected nut crackers since she was a little girl, and her dad gave her one for Christmas. We put them up every year and will continue the tradition. She taught Sunday school and would sit and talk to troubled kids in the neighborhood and give them hope and help buy them school supplies. Betty always talked about her mother and said she never met anyone like her however she didn’t realize that she resembled her mother in many ways. Her family was her whole world. Betty is survived by her husband, Robert Nutter and sons, Samuel Nutter and his wife, Kaitlynn of Belleview, FL and Jacob Nutter and his girlfriend, Maddie Brennan of Belleview, FL and her grandson, Weston Nutter of Belleview, FL. Friends and relatives may call on Friday, October 8, 2021, at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by the Funeral Service with Reverend Louis Lemley, officiating.
